Document Description
The California State Lands Commission has statutory authority, pursuant to Public Resources Code section 6826, to issue geophysical permits in State waters to qualified permittees for the use of low energy geophysical equipment to perform geophysical surveys, subject to specified terms and conditions. The State Lands Commission action is approval of proposed additions to the California Code of Regulations, title 2, division 3, chapter 1, article 2.9.1-Permits for Geophysical Surveys, to improve clarity and consistency within the regulations .
