Document Description
The proposed project will involve the removal of 1,250 cubic yards of dirt material to reshape a portion of the Carlisle Inlet peninsula (approximately .5 acres), and re-vegetate the graded area with native vegetation. The purpose of the project is to lower a soil berm (bridge abutments) to give the parcel a more natural lakeshore appearance as required per Policy 2.5.2-12 of the LSHVAP. Grading will not encroach into the canopies or root zones of the three coast live oaks and one California sycamore, and landscape irrigation water will be provided by the Lake Sherwood Community Services District.
