Document Description
The University of Southern California (USC or University), the project applicant, proposes to construct a new child care facility (the Project) to serve its University Park Campus, located at 3014-3026 Royal Street, in the City of Los Angeles. The Project would replace existing vacant residential units on a 0.64 acre project site with a new ~9,376 sf child care facility. This building would consist of two stories and would have a maximum height of ~40 feet. The project site would also include an ~5,258 sf playground and parking for ~19 vehicles. A two-way inbound/outbound driveway would be provided on Royal Street. The child care facility would serve existing USC faculty and staff and would provide care for ~114 children on a daily basis.
