Document Description
Using only State funds, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will create a permanent disposal site for material generated from maintenance and construction activiites. The site is located approximately 2.9 (mi) north of the Town of dorris at the northeat corner of the junction of (SR(s)) 97 and 161 in Siskiyou County. Access will occur from an existing pull-out at the north end of the site and will require the eventual removal of 1 or 2 mature Juniper trees. A cross-highway culvert will be extended, as needed to accommodate fill.
