Document Description
High flows from the Yolo bypass during spring of 2011 washed out a tide gate structure located in Shag Slough, a tributary to the Sacramento River. As a result of the washout and normal tidal action, the streambed at the project site experienced significant scouring during the absence of the culvert. Replacement of the culvert would restore vehicle access and tide gate function to the surrounding land. The Permittee proposes a one-for-one replacement of the original culvert with a new culvert of equivalent size and function. SAA #1600-0135-03.
