Document Description
The Codes and Standards Enhancement Quality Demonstration Project (CASE-QDP) project will develop a detailed demonstration and assessment program for Energy Commission-sponsored and other related building efficiency technologies. CASE-QDP will deliver a complete, robust data set on key energy-efficient technologies that will inform and affect California Codes and Standards enhancement activities. CASE-QDP will achieve these goals through three key program activities: (1) Rigorous assessment of primary codes and standards - ready building technologies; (2) Rigorous assessment of emerging technologies that lack funding to support a codes and standards enhancement quality measurement and verification component; and (3) Post-assessment verification and analysis of key projects verify estamated and/or demonstated performance, energy savings, and carbon savings.
