Document Description
The existing MSPP is located on the East Branch of the State Water Project (SWP) and is currently a facility of the licensed South SWP Hydropower Project No. 2426 (P-2426). Pursuant to Section 4.90 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations, the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) is applying to FERC for a conduit exemption from provisions of Part I of the Federal Power Act (FPA) for MSPP, an existing small conduit hydroelectric facility that meets the requriements of 18 CFR Section 4.30(b)(28).
