Document Description
The Project is limited to installing a valved in-stream release outlet at the diversion dam for Browns ditch; 1) Installing two (2) temporary sandbag cofferdams to create dry workspace at the diversion pool and divert flow around work area during construction; 2) installing temporary bypass system to divert water downstream of work area; 3) Using a sump pump to keep work area dewatered and dry; 4) Excavating approximately 100 cubic yards of rock and sand from dewatered diversion pool upstream of the dam to be disposed of at off-site facility; 5) Coring through the exisitng cement dam wall to place 18-inch steel pipe outlet which will be controlled by a gate valve mechanism on downstream side of dam wall.
