Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of an old timber bridge with a dual culvert crossing at the same location. The new crossing will utilize two fourty-two inch diameter reinforced concrete pipes. Approximately 35 +/- cubic yards of dirt will be excavated from the channel to accommodate the culverts. The lower half of the culverts will be embedded in 3/4 inch crushed rock. Clean fill dirt will be added to cover the top of the culvert and to match the existing grade. Rock slope protection will be used to stabilize the channel bed and banks and fill slopes both upstream and dowstream of the bed.
