Document Description
SAA #1600-2013-0021-R5 - This maintenance and restoration project proposes to restore the functioning of Sand Lake, an existing storm water detension basin. The project will utilize less-intensive hydraulic dredging from a floating barge for the majority of the work. More traditional mechanical dredging (sand and deposit removal) will be used in the remaining project areas where the equipment will not be required to work in the water. The project will remove sediment that has built up along the shoreline, on the lake bottom and at the points of influent flow.
