Document Description
The South Coast AQMD proposes to install 20 electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), direct current fast chargers (DCFC) with one per site throughout the South Coast Air Basin. To date there are over 20,000 plug-in electric vehicles in California. the majority of these vehicle are located in Southern California and these drivers will be beneficiaries of this project.

Reasons for Exemption
This project will install twenty direct current fast charges for electric vehicles. The charges will be installed at existing grocery stores located in the South Coast Air Basin. Electric power will be provided from the existing stores, involving installation of conduit, wiring, electrical connections, and mounting equipment. The small fooprint for the units is approximately four feet tall by four feet wide.
