Document Description
The Project consists of the construction of two separate setback levees along the Sacramento River to provide long term flood protection within the Sacramento River Designated Floodway. The setback levee at River mile (RM) 210 and 212 will be constructed 300 feet from the current alignment on the Sacramento River. The existing levee will be left in place and abandoned. The setback levees, 1,400 feet between RM 211.9 and 212.1 and 1,500 feet between 210.1 and 210.6 will be constructed to the elevation and dimension of the existing serviceable levee structure.
