Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of 500 cubic yards (cy) of sediment along a 724-foot long reach of Belmont Creek. The sediment will be removed with an excavator and will be placed in haul trucks and taken to a nearby landfill for disposal. The removal of the sediment will increase the channel capacity to approximately 750 cubic fee per second (cfs) which is equivalent to a 10-year storm event and will reduce the flooding potential of the nearby properties.
