Document Description
Construction of a drainage basin to reduce/eliminate annual road flooding at the intersection of Avenue 18 3/4 and Rhine Drive. An average rain storm causes water to stagnate resulting in unsafe road conditions, continuous road damage, and private property damage. Surrounding residence and the public will benefit from this project.

Reasons for Exemption
Ave. 18 3/4 and Rhine Dri. are existing road facilities, the negligible expansion of these facilities through the construction of a drainage basin to alleviate road flooding is necessary at this intersection for public safety purposes. The new construction of a culvert from the existing road to the proposed basin will be of reasonable length to serve the proposed drainage basin. The project will not cause a significant effect.
