Document Description
Inspect and repair the disconnected or damaged effluent discharge pipe in the septic system located at the Little Basin property within Big Basin Redwoods State Park to protect natural resouces and the public. Work will:
* Utilize a small excavator to dig down appproximately 4' deep and 5' x 5' wide area to locate the effluent discharge pipe
* Repair or replace the effluent discharge pipe
* Test and prepare septic system for activation
* Back fill and cover the septic system with native soil

Project consists of operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing mechanical equipment, involving no expansion of use beyond that existing a the time of the lead agency's determination; replacement or reconstruciton of existing facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced, and installation of small new equipment in the small structure, and the minor alteration in the condition of land and vegetation that does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
