On June 17, 2014, the Walnut Creek City Council approved The Shadelands Gateway Specific Plan and The Orchards at Walnut Creek Project and related entitlements, including, without limitation, the introduction of an Ordinance to rezone the Project Site to Planned Development (PD 2132). As a result, a NOD was filed with the Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder and OPR on June 18 and June 20, 2014, respectively. On July 1, 2014 the City Council conducted the second reading of the Ordinance and thereafter formally adopted the Ordinance. This second NOD is being submitted in response to the action on July 1, 2014 wherein the Council adopted the Ordinance.
