CAL FIRE is proposing to construct an 80-bed dormitory and provide associated improvements at its lone Academy in Amador County. Construction activities would take place within the boundaries of the 420-acre CAL FIRE Academy site. The proposed three-story, 17,822 sf building would alleviate student housing needs.
