Document Description
Discretionary approvals will include a Conditional User Permit (CUP), a Development Plan Approval (DPA), a Modification of Property Development Standards, and a Tentative Parcel Map (TPM). The proposed project, if approved will provide a full range of solid waste processing and recycling activities within the project site.
Building A - An existing building will undergo remodeling to provide a total of 4,248 sq. ft. of office space (including the mezzanine) and the remaining 28,097 sq. ft. of floor area will be improved to accommodate the new MRF.
Building B - This existing building, consisting of 10,606 sq. ft. of floor area, will be used for the storage of baled, recycled materials. In addition to the storage area, a new 2,180 sq. ft. enclosed loading dock area will be constructed. A new 715 sq. ft. restroom will be added.
Building C - This building will be a new building that will be constructed in the eastern portion of the property. This new building will have a total floor area of 20,100 sq. ft. and will be used for the transfer of municipal solid waste (MSW), green waste, and construction and demolition debris.
Building D - This building is an existing two-level office building with a total of 5,376 sq. ft. of office floor area.
Building E - The existing 4,616 sq. ft. truck repair shop building will be demolished.
Truck Scale - This existing 36-foot long truck scale, located next to Building D, will be removed. The truck scale will provide a record of all incoming and outgoing materials. Two new truck scales will be installed for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles.
