Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0256-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, The Eden Hills Porject Owner, LLC. The Valiano residential development project will impact a series of unnamed tributaries to Escondido Creek in order to construct single-family dwelling units and associated infrastructure. Other portions of streams on the project site will be permanently impacted due to routine maintenance for fuel modification management. The project will also construct six new stream crossings to accomodate vehicle traffic throughout the development. The project will mitigate stream impacts through the creation, restoration, enhancement, and preservation of 2.13 acres of stream habitat on-site, and will also purchase 0.67 re-establishment credit at a CDFW-approved mitigation bank.
