This project involves a prescribed burn of bured surface fuels, primarily grass, approximately 15 acres in size. The vegetation type is grassland with a partial overstory of native oak trees. The primary purpose of the burn to reduce overall fuel loading to decrease the chance of a catastrophic wildfire in the future.
