The California Department of Public Health is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. Lewiston CSD proposes a project that includes repairs to the existing raw water main and providing water to the residents of the water system in the interim until the Proposition 84 construction project that will complete the long-term solution to the problem is completed in 2014.
