Document Description
The Southern California Gas Company requests a work area of approximately 0.75 acre which is outside of their existing easement of conduct pipeline replacement and pressure testing in an area adjacent to Van Buren Boulevard. This testing and other similar investigations network wide has been precipitated by the San Bruno Mountain pipeline explosion several year ago and interest inpreventing similar disasters elsewhere. The work area will be used to store equipment and Baker tanks, which hold water that will be used to pressure test the pipe.
