Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0115-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Department of Water Resources. The Prospect Island Tidal Habitat Restoration Project will restore approximately 1,600 acres of tidal wetlands and associated habitats on Prospect Island. Project activities include levee repairs, dewatering the island, vegetation control, construction of internal restoration features, revegetation, weir construction, levee breaching, implementing avoidance and minimization measures, and post-restoration monitoring and maintenance.
