The project is necessary to comply with a drinking water order issued by the CA Dept. of Public Health to the Del Oro Water Company to correct a filtration problem at the Stirling Bluffs water treatment plant. In order to bring the plant into compliance with the order, Del Oro Water Company will add two new filter trains at the plant.
