A comprehensive update of the Mill Valley General Plan (last update 1989). The planning horizon for the new General Plan is 2040. The MV 2040 General Plan contains the following elements (corresponding state-mandated elements in parenthesis, where necessary): land use, mobility (circulation), community vitality, natural environment (conservation/open space), climate action, hazards and public safety (safety), noise, general plan administration and housing. The Housing Element is for the 2009-2014 cycle.
