Document Description
The project is a revision and update of the 1989 Mill Valley General Plan, including the Housing Element for the 2009-2014 cycle. The draft plan includes 10 elements: Land Use, Mobility, Community Vitality (economic, health, recreation, arts and culture), Natural Environment, Hazards and Public Safety, Climate Action, Noise, General Plan Administration and Housing. The plan is a comprehensive policy update, but does not anticipate or call for any changes to existing land use or zoning designations or existing development patterns other than specified procedural and regulatory updates to address Housing Element recommendations in conformance with state law. The plan includes the City's climate action plan.
