The Applicant intends to treat diverted surface water at the Monterey Regional Treatment Plant and inject the water into the Seaside Groundwater Basin. The Reclamation Ditch Diversion and the Blanco Drain Diversion are proposed water diversions that will contribute a portion of the source water needed to meet recycled water demands identified for the greater Project. The two diversions structures are located within drainage channels in the Northern Salinas Valley.
