Document Description
The General Plan Update covers six of the elements: Land Use, Circulation, Conservation, Safety, Noise, and Economic Development. The Housing Element and Parks, Recreation and Open Space Element were previously updated and are not included. Changes to the General Plan Land Use Map include: Delineation of the existing Public Open Space designation into Public, Private and Public Park; Designation of Very High Density Residential Sites in compliance with RHNA obligations; Addition of a Mixed Use land use designation; Correction of land use designations for sites that have developed or are expected to develop at uses or densities that differ from their existing General Plan land use designation; Correction of mapping errors. The project also includes a Zoning Map update to match the proposed General Plan Land Use Map.
