Note Reference SCH# 1997011005 The purpose of the proposed project is to improve water quality, enhance habitat quality and aesthetic, and provide recreational opportunities at the Oxford Retention Basin. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, replacing existing tide gates; excavating accumulated sediment from the bottom of the Oxford Retention Basin; constructing a new vegetated berm, catch basins, bio retention systems, access ramps, observation areas, a walk/jog path around the perimeter of the Oxford Retention Basin; and replacing existing vegetation, including removal of approximately 400 trees.
