Document Description
Make repairs to an approximately 1,000 lineal foot section of the Marshall Monument Road within Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park to improve public safety. Work will: * Clean road edges and existing pavement surface as preparation for pavment overlay * Remove approximately 600 square feet of asphalt due to damage from tree roots and remove tree roots as necessary * Remove one cedar tree approximately 40' in height near the intersection at the monument that is causing damage to the road. A qualified archaeologist will monitor the asphalt and tree root removal portion of the project.
