Document Description
Beaver activity has left large voids in earthen embankments used for seepage control and monitoring by the California Department of Water Resources. These voids have the potential to cause piping failure of the westerly levee embankment of West Canal which could promote failure of the Clifton Court Forebay (CCF) dam. The proposed repair and associated vegetation removal will ensure proper function and operation of the Sump/Pump 5 drainage facility and will allow for adequate dam safety surveillance and monitoring activities at CCF.
