Document Description
Caltrans proposes a roadway rehabilitation project on (SR) 299 in Trinity County, near the town of Douglas City. The project will begin east of the Grass Valley Creek Bridge at (PM) 64.0 and end at intersection of Highway 3, near (PM 53.5). This project will repair, re-surface and re-stripe the highway within the project limits. Completion of these improvements may require, but not be limited to: Repairing gravel shoulders - grinding, repairing, repaving and re-striping the roadway - replacing, repairing or modifying Metal Beam Guardrail, culverts and signs. Additional improvements include: resurfacing, re-striping and ADA access upgrades at the MOON LIM Lee Rest Area, and replacing a retaining wall near Poker Bar Road with Metal Beam Guardrail.
