Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is the lead agency. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is provinding state funds for the project. The Long Canyon Water Company proposes to study the feasiblity and choose a construction project from the following alternatives: new well construciton, construction of a uranium treatment plant, or the regional consolidation in the Weldon area. The feasibility study includes the construction of a test well to determine if available water quality meets the State's MCL standards for uranium.
