Document Description
The canal lining repair project includes removing damaged portions of the concrete lining that have buckled or cracked, and replacing them with a new lining and a waterproof membrane. Unsuitable soils behind the lining will be excavated and re-compacted, and some lower portions of the embankments protection. The canal will be dewatered at the construction site prior to starting work, so there will be no water quality issues or impacts.
