Document Description
The purpose of this project is to restore the riprap at Cardiff State Beach on the north and south side of the San Elijo Lagoon mouth to protect park resources and public safety. All existing riprap that has been displaced on the beach will be collected and restacked adjacent to areas subjected to severe erosion. A sand berm will be created adjacent to the restacked riprap utilizing sand excavated from the lagoon mouth (authorized pursuant to separate coastal development permit).
