Document Description
This project involves recurring maintenance and repair of six truck trails, Rainbow, Mason Valley, Von Sagren, Ridge Ranch, Suncrest, and Skeleton Flats, all located within San Diego County, Cal Fire operational Unit. These truck trails serve as ingress and egress routes for, and will aid in, fire suppression and emergency response activities. The project is part of the San Diego Unit's historic and ongoing annual maintenance of critical fire defense infrastructure. This project will encompass typical tasks associated with road maintenance consisting of grading, filling of eroded ruts, repair of existing water drainage facilities, cleanout of exisitng culvert systems, removal of obstructions within the road such as rocks and fallen trees, removal of dead trees adjacent to roadway that are likely to fall onto roadway, hand removal of selected vegetation adjacent to or disturbing activities will remain within the prism of the existing road.
