Document Description
Project will construct a new 1 million gallon (1 MG) steel water reservoir (tank) on City property to provide improved water system reliability for the residents of the City of Dorris. The new tank will be located adjacent to an existing 1 MG steel water tank at the site. Existing underground utilities and overhead communication lines will be utilized for the new tank. Existing access and site security is located at the project site. The project will be connected to the existing tank to provide improved efficiency. No new supply or delivered pipelines will be constructed off-site. Project will excavate into the existing hillside and construct a new tank pad for the project; the tank pad will expand the existing tank pad by approximately 1,000 sf. The new tank will be painted with muted colors to blend into the hillside.
