Document Description
Construction and operation of an entertainment and sports center on approximately 18.5 acres. The proposed ESC Project would be located on the Downtown Plaza property and on other property which may be transferred to Applicant and would include demolition of portions of the existing buildings, and the construction and operation of an approximately 18,500 seat entertainment and sports center and up to 1,500,000 square feet of office, retail, housing and hotel uses at the ESC Project Site. The ESC would serve as the home for the Sacramento Kings, a National Basketball Association team, as well as a venue for other sports, entertainment and civic and cultural events.
