Document Description
The DWR Delta Flood Emergency Facilities Improvement Project is a component of the DWR Delta Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery Program, collectively aimed at: 1) protecting the lives, property, and infrastructure critical to the functioning of both the Delta and CA; 2) Protect water quality and restore water supply for both Delta and export water users during and after a flooding event in the Delta; and 3) minimize impacts to environmental resources. The purpose of the FIP is to ensure that the State has the appropriate infrastructure and supplies in the Delta to respond and recover quickly and effectively from major flood or earthquake disasters in the Delta. The FIP consists of improving three waterside material transfer facilities within the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta at the noted locations above.
