Document Description
The Western Aggregates LLC Yuba County Operations Amended Reclamation Plan would involve the reclamation of 1,960 acres of aggregate mining operations in three phases over 45 years, ending in 2059. Reclamation activities would be initiated following the termination of mining activities subsequent to each mining phase. Implementation of the reclamation plan would maintain five lakes with shorelines created by mining and would provide an end land use consisting of open space areas supporting a variety of wildlife habitat types including aquatic lake, emergent marsh, and riparian woodland and upland. Reclamation activities would include grading and contouring the site and revegetation. All mining equipment and structures would be removed prior to final reclamation.
