The project consists of a bridge/box culvert to be designed and constructed, and widening the existing roadway to 36 ft. with additional improvements including sidewalk, parkway, etc. extending to 60 ft. wide. No additional lanes are proposed. Limits of work include an 80 ft. wide roadway construction footprint extending approximately 300 ft. north and 200 ft. south of the intersection of Wildwood Creek and 6th Place, 100 ft. wide flood control channel (Wildwood Creek) extending approximately 300 ft. west and 300 ft. east of the intersection. Construction of associated channel improvements including wing walls, transition structures, channel lining, rip-rap slope protection and scour protection structures. In addition, approach street improvements and drainage systems will also be designed and constructed.
