The Mobility Element Update will address all modes of circulation on the City's street network and the primary tasks proposed include creating the following: (1) policies and programs for the goals and objectives of the Moblility Element; (2) an Enhanced Complete Street System, consisting of Pedestians-, Transit-, Bicycle- and Vehicle-Enhanced Networks, of major streets that facilitate multi-modal mobility wihtin the transporation network; (3) guidelines/street standards to focus on streetsacpe elements and characteristics to create a multi-modal transportation system; (4) performance measurement tools for evaluating street and future mitigation for projects affecting circulation; (5) maintenance of existing truck routes/scenic highways.
