Document Description
The project is limited to stabilizing appoximately 720 feet of shoreline along Bucks Lake. Due to hydroelectric generation and fluctuating lake levels, erosion of the shoreline is undermining a segment of Pioneer Way which runs parallel to the shoreline and provides access to U.S. Forest Service lands and privately leased cabins. The project entails minor re-contouring of the shoreline to lay back and slope the bank, placement of rip-rap rock along the bank and removal of 14 trees along the shoreline that have under-cut roots or will interfere with rip-rap installation.
