Document Description
The Project is limited to: 1) installing a temporary cofferdam to dewater area of approximately 40 feet by 50 feet; 2) installing a river flow bypass system using existing metal flume with small pump to maintain flows downstream; and 3) replacing the existing weir with 15-foot wide by 23-foot long sharp crested weir (approx. 61.2 cubic yards of reinforced concrete) capable of measuring 10-60 cubic feet per second range. Total disturbance area within the river bed is approximately 337 square feet. A new pressure transducer in a galvinized steel pipe will replace the existing system and new conduit from existing building to new gaging weir will be installed.
