Document Description
Construct a fuels break area along Deer Creek. The fuel break will contain a 100 feet setback from the defined channel of Deer Creek and extend approximately 200 feet beyond the setback on either side for approximately 1.1 miles. The project will encompass approximately 47 acres. Vegetation treatments methods include hand clearing/chipping. Vegetation treatments include removing heavy accumulations of surface fuels, thinning small diameter trees (<10" dbh) and removing brush to break up the horizontal continuity; pruning lower limbs to remove ladder fuels; pulling invasive species; Material generated will be chipped.
