Document Description
Remove European beachgrass (Ammophilia arenana) until it is eradicated from the area known as Big Dune within Tolowa Dunes State Park to restore the integrity of the dunes. In an area not to exceed 5 acres a year work will: * Excavate up to 1 meter deep to remove Ammophila arenana with shovels and trowels from northwest to southeast to allow natives to recolonize the treated sand source areas. * Pile removed vegetation on site, leave to decompose, and burn at a later date.
