Document Description
This project involves ongoing maintenance and some repair work of the access road to the Pilot Hill Lookout. The segment of road which will be maintained/repaired by Cal Fire begins at the lower cattle guard on Pilot Peak road and continuing up to and around the Lookout facility. A distance of approximately 1 mile. Maintenance activities shall include re-grading with a road grader, re-gravelling as required to maintain the road prism in a passable condition, the use of a backhoe and roller for the installation of 2 drainage facilities (waterbreaks) and the cleaning out of three existing 12 inch culvert inlets.
