The Flood Projects Office, Flood Corridor Program, granted funds to The Nature Conservancy to assist in the purchase of two properties along the Santa Clara River. The proposed acquisitions will conserve existing floodplain and add to previously acquired floodplain creating 377 acres of contiguous open space and transitory flood storage.
