Document Description
The proect involves the replacement of joists, decking, and piling of the existing pier and catwalk. Two 10 3/4" diameter piling will be repaired and re-driven. Twenty-four 4x6 piling supporting the catwalks will be removed and replaced with four 2 1/2" diameter pipe column piling and eight 4x4 tube steel piling. The catwalk will be adjustable and supported by the tube steel piling. New fender piling will be attached to the catwalk. Caissons will be installed around the piling as necessary. All debris and staging will be contained on a floating barge. All material will be transported by barge and loaded/offloaded at the Tahoe City Marina or Lake Forest boat ramp. The project is estimated to be completed within four weeks of commencement.
