The project involves light to moderate intensity buring of grass for the purpose of training of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection personnel in the proper procedures of firing techniques to control wild land fires. Firing of these units will be conducted in a manner that allows firefighters to utilize controlled fire to extingush simulated uncontrolled fire.
